      How are amber mosaics created?

Mosaic artworks are recreated based on a pre-prepared sketch. Then, constructing and developing the panel can be done in two ways.

      • The first method is used in industrial production: special computer programs allow the pieces of stone to be initially arranged on the screen and then brought to life.
      • The second method involves completely manual work. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that the master mosaicist manually selects each stone based on its color and shape, following a precise match to the colored sketch. This method imparts individuality to the artwork, thanks to the subjective perception of each master.

The difference between these methods is radical: even when recreating the same subject, different panels will result, varying in color and overall perception.
