How are amber mosaics created?

Mosaic artworks are recreated based on a pre-prepared sketch. Then, constructing and developing the panel can be done in two ways.

The first method is used in industrial production: special computer programs allow the pieces of stone to be initially arranged on the screen and then brought to life.
The second method involves completely manual work. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that the master mosaicist manually selects each stone based on its color and shape, following a precise match to the colored sketch. This method imparts individuality to the artwork, thanks to the subjective perception of each master.

The difference between these methods is radical: even when recreating the same subject, different panels will result, varying in color and overall perception.
